R.M of Hanover
When the R.M. of Hanover decided it was time to relocate and expand their offices, they invited three bidders to present proposals for the construction management services for their new building. Three Way Builders Ltd. was chosen for this work and the result was a great finished project for the Rural Municipality. The building is constructed on a pile foundation with a structural steel and cast in place concrete floor. The structure is a combination of conventional wood framing with a timber frame entrance and council chamber. The building is also unique in that it was the first building in the area with a Stone Tile exterior finish. The colored metal standing seam roof provides an attractive highlight to this municipal building.
The interior is well-lit with natural light from large windows around the perimeter of the building. A definite feature is the Timber Frame detailing for the council chamber and front entry.
