St. Paul’s Collegiate:

Description:

This tendered project included the demolition of an existing portable class room and the construction of a new portable link, a new portable building with three classrooms, and a permanent link to the main school building.

Eagle Lake School:

The landscaping included play structures, a basketball court, stone around the building and lots of seeded lawn areas.

Description:

This project included a renovation and addition to an existing steel frame school facility in Eagle Lake, Ontario. Donald F. Courtnage of Winnipeg, Manitoba developed the design, and Three Way Builders was hired as the Construction Manager. The addition included new classrooms, office area and a central Library.

Abundant Life Church:

Description:

This project was phase 1 of an addition to the Abundant Life Fellowship in Grunthal, Manitoba. The first, smaller phase included a new foyer addition and renovation as well as the installation of a new sprinkler system which was required by the Province for the planned expansion to the daycare facility. The second phase, which is scheduled to start sometime in 2009 will include the addition of a large auditorium/gymnasium. This will enable the growing congregation to provide much needed space for both assembly and recreational uses. The Abundant Life Fellowship Church has also expanded their preschool and licensed day care spaces.

West Hawk Campground Improvements:

Description:

This project involves the complete demolition and removal of an existing washroom, and the construction of a new 1035 sq. ft. washroom and shower building at the West Hawk Lake Campground within the Whiteshell Provincial Park, Manitoba. The building sits on a raft foundation and is constructed mainly of non-combustible materials that include architectural concrete and architectural concrete masonry units. This seasonal-use building includes many design innovations including: solar energy collectors, waterless and low flow plumbing fixtures and Power Smart artificial lighting components. The space provides for women’s and men’s washroom and shower facilities, and incorporates barrier free access.

Providence College Student Life Centre:

Description:

This 23 090 sqft new building was designed to improve life for the students. A 480 seat dining hall is large enough to accommodate the large banquets which have become a trade mark at the college. Folding partitions allow this dining hall to be divided into 3 multipurpose areas which includes a cafeteria space for the students. The state-of-the-art servery and commercial kitchen provide the students with an exceptional dining experience. Additionally, the building contains large student lounge areas as well as two classrooms. The building is bright and inviting with lots of natural light throughout.
