Three Way Builders is excited to partner again with Southland Community Church in their Phase 3 addition.  As the church continues to grow they are quickly running out of space.  With approximately 3,300 people attending each weekend, four services aren’t enough to accommodate everyone in the current 750 seat auditorium, so currently, the Chapel is used as overflow seating via simulcast.  Phase 3 will add 60, 000 sq. ft. of new space including new rooms for children’s ministry, prayer room, healing center, offices and a new auditorium with 2,033 seats. This project will also include renovating approximately 20,000 sq. ft. of the existing building to accommodate an expanded kitchen and coffee area, a larger nursery and wider hallways and expanded lobbies. The parking lot is also being expanded to provide an additional 500 parking stalls.

Three Way Builders was thrilled with the prospect of being part of this fantastic project!

Description:

When Three Way Builders was invited to interview for the construction management position for the renovation of this historic building, they were thrilled with the prospect of being part of this fantastic project!  What a project it turned out to be!  This historic building was restored to the original on the exterior while at the same time creating an accessible building and renovating the entire interior.  Some of the challenges included lowering an existing floor by 4-5 feet to make the building accessible while maintaining the structural integrity of the building.  This required major shoring of the structure and installing new steel posts and beams at various locations.  A good part of the original metal ceiling tiles were retained with the addition of some new pieces created to match the existing ones.  The final result of this building is well worth seeing and it will be a showcase for the MICEC for years to come!

Grunthal Menno Home:

Three Way Builders was retained as the construction manager for the Grunthal Menno Home

Description:

When Three Way Builders was retained as the construction manager for the Grunthal Menno Home it was kind of a homecoming for Len Neufeld, president of TWB.  Having lived less than a block away for several years during his early childhood he remembers riding bike in the neighborhood and even now has family members living in the community.  This assisted living project features a central courtyard that is sure to be enjoyed by the residents and visitors.  The community worked hard to raise funds locally in order to make this project a success and it is one of the projects funded by both the Provincial and Federal Governments.  It’s proximity to the existing PCH makes it a perfect “ageing in place” facility.

Abundant Life Fellowship – Grunthal

Abundant Life Fellowship, Grunthal - Preparation

Description:

This is the second time in as many years that the Abundant Life Fellowship has added onto their facilities. Their latest expansion is a 10,750 sq. ft. area featuring a gymnasium/assembly hall, office areas, board room and multi-purpose rooms. The congregation is excited about their growth both in attendance and physical plant and is enjoying this new space. The gymnasium is used by many different groups including the Good News Day Care (currently operating out of the existing building), community groups and of course weekend services for the church itself.  Three Way Builders is grateful that they were chosen to be the project manager for this dynamic growing church in rural Manitoba.

Description:

After completing the Design/Build project at the North Centennial Recreation Centre on Sinclair Street, TWB was successful in the Construction Management tender for the Sturgeon Heights Community Centre on Rita Street. This fabulous new facility replaced the existing aging building on this site and provides a great gathering place for the local community.  It will be a great recreational and gathering space for many years to come.
